Work package 1 identifies and defines the requirements for the gAALaxy solution in close collaboration with diverse stakeholders. The solution is designed on the basis of these requirements. Furthermore, WP1 includes the identification of relevant ethical, legal and cultural frameworks.
The focus of work package 2 is to develop plug-and-play solution bundles on the basis of an open gAALaxy middleware.
Work package 3 focuses on planning and executing large-scale, international field tests in real world environments – in the housings of older adults.
Work package 4 focuses on international exploitation of the project’s results through targeted dissemination activities. Also, a feasibile business model and an initial business plan is developed within this work package.
The consortium incorporates a process-based management approach in order to guarantee a timely project conclusion while keeping costs under control and more importantly ensure quality. Therefore, a main task for the project management team is to set-up tools to monitor and disseminate the project’s progress among the consortium.
